1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device so that it works properly and, with your consent, so that we can analyse how it is used. The same applies to comparable technologies, such as local storage.

2. Cookie categories

From the cookie preferences panel you can manage four categories. The non-essential ones stay switched off until you consent to them, and their cookies are only used when the corresponding service is actually used on the website:

  • Necessary: needed for the website to work and to remember your choices, such as your language and your cookie preferences. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
  • Functional: they enable extra features, such as displaying and interacting with the verified reviews shown on the site.
  • Analytics: they help us understand how the website is used so that we can improve it. They stay switched off until you give your consent.
  • Marketing: where used, they let us measure how well our campaigns work and show more relevant content. They stay switched off until you give your consent.

At present the only cookie that footgel.com itself stores is the one that records your cookie choices. It is kept for six months so that you are not asked again on every visit.

3. Managing your consent

On your first visit a notice lets you accept cookies, reject the non-essential ones or set them up by category.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the permanent “Cookie preferences” link in the page footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and it does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

4. Third-party services

The website loads content and resources served by third parties: the typefaces and code libraries it needs to display correctly, a tag manager that receives the choice you make in the cookie panel, and the widget that shows the verified reviews, which loads its content and images from its own provider.

Where these services set cookies of their own, they do so under their own policies and in line with the choices you have made. Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser may stop some of these features from working.

5. Changes

This cookie policy may be updated if the cookies, technologies, providers or services used change. If you have any questions, write to us at inyerasp@gmail.com.
