Description

Footgel Plantar Fasciitis is a high-cushioning insole designed to relieve heel pain and discomfort associated with plantar fasciitis. Its structure includes:

  • Arch support (28 mm): reduces strain on the fascia.
  • U-shaped heel cup: improves heel stability and cushioning.
  • Thick layer of Termocrep-Gel® 3R: 100% viscoelastic gel base that adapts to your stride.

Our plantar fasciitis insoles cushion impacts, distribute the load evenly across the sole of the foot and reduce pressure on weight-bearing areas.

Key benefits

  • Pain relief: reduces discomfort caused by plantar fasciitis and decreases strain on the feet, knees and lower back.
  • Arch support: provides support under the plantar arch to reduce the strain borne by the fascia that causes pain at different times of the day.
  • Even pressure distribution: distributes the load better across the whole sole and prevents it from concentrating on the main weight-bearing areas.
  • Biomechanically tested effectiveness: in laboratory tests, Footgel Plantar Fasciitis reduced impacts by 24.3% and pressure on weight-bearing points by 16.5%, while improving pressure distribution by 23%.
  • Class I medical device: manufactured in accordance with European medical device regulations. Protects and supports the well-being of your feet.
  • Hypoallergenic and antibacterial: helps prevent bacterial proliferation to keep the inside of footwear more hygienic.
  • Long-lasting eucalyptus scent: the gel contains aromatic eucalyptus essence to combat unpleasant odours.

Scientific evidence

Footgel Plantar Fasciitis insoles combine high heel cushioning, arch support and a more even pressure distribution to help offload the plantar fascia. Studies in people with plantar fasciitis show pain improvements with cushioning and silicone insoles, while biomechanical research shows that adequate arch support can reduce strain on the fascia.

Less pain with silicone insoles

A clinical trial in patients with plantar fasciitis found significant improvements in pain, heel tenderness and function after one month using full-length silicone insoles.

Less pain with soft insoles

A clinical trial in adults with heel pain and plantar fasciitis found a significant reduction in pain intensity and in its interference with daily life when using insoles, including those made from soft materials.

Less strain on the plantar fascia

Biomechanical studies show that adequate arch support can reduce the strain carried by the plantar fascia under load. This effect depends on the design and the degree of support used.

Footgel technology

We make our insoles with a three-layer technology:

Technical microfibre + high-density foam + Termocrep-Gel® 3R

A world-unique formula tested by independent laboratories.

Biomechanical studies endorse its efficacy in relieving and preventing pain in feet and joints:

  • x2 More energy return Returns energy to your stride to reduce muscle fatigue.
  • x3 More cushioning Absorbs impact to protect your feet and joints.
  • x4 More pressure distribution Spreads pressure evenly across the sole of the foot.

Breathability

Breathable technical gel: constant airflow with every stepBreathability system: microfiber that keeps the foot dry

Materials & care

What are they made of?

  • Technical microfibre: the layer in contact with your foot. Soft, breathable, antibacterial and environmentally friendly.
  • High-density foam: an ultra-breathable material that allows constant airflow to remove moisture and keep your feet fresh and dry.
  • Termocrep-Gel® 3R: exclusive medical-grade gel technology. Designed to absorb impact and relieve pain in feet and joints.
  • Natural scents: the gel is infused with aromatic essences of orange blossom, aloe vera or eucalyptus to keep your footwear smelling fresh.

How to care for your Footgel Plantar Fasciitis?

Our plantar fasciitis insoles can be machine washed at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle.

Important for drying. Always let the insoles air-dry. Do not use a dryer or place them on radiators or other direct heat sources, as excess heat can affect the structure and properties of the gel.
