Description

Footgel Military & Police Winter is designed for military personnel, police officers and professionals carrying out guard duty, marches and service in cold conditions and need to keep their feet warm and protected during long days.

Its structure combines a top layer of 100% merino wool, high-density foam and Termocrep-Gel® 3R cushioning technology to provide thermal insulation, absorb impact and improve comfort inside the boot.

Benefits

  • Protection from the cold: the merino wool helps retain warmth and keep the boot comfortably warm.
  • Pain relief and prevention: it reduces discomfort in feet, knees and lower back caused by marches, impact and long days on your feet.
  • Greater cushioning: the combination of high-density foam and Termocrep-Gel® 3R absorbs impact and distributes pressure more evenly.
  • Less tiredness and muscle fatigue: it reduces the strain built up in feet and legs during guard duty and patrols.
  • Comfort inside the boot: it improves comfort in military, police and professional footwear, which tend to be stiffer.
  • Moisture regulation: the natural properties of merino wool help absorb moisture and keep feet drier and more comfortable.
  • Class I medical device: it supports comfort and protection for the foot during professional use.
  • Hypoallergenic and antibacterial: it prevents the growth of bacteria to keep the inside of the footwear fresher and more hygienic.
  • Long-lasting eucalyptus scent: the gel contains eucalyptus essence, which fights bad odours.

Scientific evidence

Footgel Military & Police Winter insoles are designed to cushion the loads of marches and long days in boots, and add merino wool to improve comfort in cold environments. Military studies show benefits of cushioning insoles during training, while research with merino wool has recorded less moisture sensation and greater comfort.

Fewer overuse injuries

Among more than 2,700 Royal Marines recruits, the incidence of lower-limb overuse injuries was 19% with shock-absorbing insoles versus 31.7% with standard insoles.

Materials & care

What are they made of?

  • Merino wool: the layer in contact with the foot. Soft, warm and breathable, it helps retain heat and regulate moisture inside the footwear.
  • Termocrep-Gel® 3R: exclusive medical-grade gel technology. Designed to absorb impact and relieve pain in feet and joints.
  • Natural scents: the gel is infused with aromatic essences of orange blossom, aloe vera or eucalyptus to keep your footwear smelling fresh.

How to care for your Footgel Military & Police Winter?

They are not machine washable. As they are made with merino wool, a natural fibre, we recommend washing them by hand in cold water to better preserve their properties.

Important for drying. Always let the insoles air-dry. Do not use a dryer or place them on radiators or other direct heat sources, as excess heat can affect the structure and properties of the gel.
