Description
Footgel Roller Hockey is a high-cushioning insole developed with professional roller hockey players.
It absorbs impact and reduces the strain from accelerations, stops and changes of direction, helping to relieve pain and reduce overload.

UK sizes are approximate and vary by brand, so the European size is the one Footgel manufactures to. Footgel insoles run slightly large, so if you are between two ranges choose the smaller one, and trim the insole to fit your footwear.
Scientific evidence
Footgel Roller Hockey insoles help cushion and distribute the pressure generated inside the skate during acceleration, braking and changes of direction. Studies on inline skating identify the heel, the first metatarsal and the big toe as some of the main load areas.

A study with 13 advanced skaters analysed pressures inside inline skates at different speeds and identified three main high-pressure areas: the heel, the first metatarsal head and the big toe.

How to care for your Footgel Roller Hockey?
Our roller hockey insoles can be machine washed at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle.
Important for drying. Always let the insoles air-dry. Do not use a dryer or place them on radiators or other direct heat sources, as excess heat can affect the structure and properties of the gel.
