Description
Footgel Roller Hockey is a high-cushioning insole developed with professional roller hockey players.
It absorbs impact and reduces the strain from accelerations, stops and changes of direction, helping to relieve pain and lower the risk of injury.
Benefits
- Pain relief and prevention: it reduces discomfort in feet, knees and lower back.
- Termocrep-Gel® 3R cushioning: it absorbs the impact of stops and changes of direction to protect feet and joints.
- More comfort inside the skate: it provides a more cushioned surface under the foot during training and matches.
- Even pressure distribution: it spreads weight more evenly across the whole sole to keep it from concentrating on the main support areas.
- Breathability and odour control: the Tecnion® technical microfibre helps keep the foot dry and controls moisture and bad odours inside the skate.
- Class I medical device: made in accordance with European medical device regulations. It protects and looks after your feet.
- Hypoallergenic and antibacterial: it prevents the growth of bacteria to keep the inside of the skate more hygienic.

Scientific evidence
Footgel Roller Hockey insoles help to absorb and distribute the pressure generated inside the skate during accelerations, stops and changes of direction. Studies on inline skating identify the heel, the first metatarsal and the big toe as some of the main loading areas.
Heel, metatarsal and big toe: high-pressure areas
A study with 13 advanced skaters analysed pressures inside inline skates at different speeds and identified three main high-pressure areas: the heel, the first metatarsal head and the big toe.

Fewer pressure peaks with cushioning materials
A systematic review found reductions in plantar pressure with different cushioning materials used as flat insole surfaces, without the effect necessarily depending on rigid corrective structures.

How to care for your Footgel Roller Hockey?
Our roller hockey insoles can be machine washed at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle.
Important for drying. Always let the insoles air-dry. Do not use a dryer or place them on radiators or other direct heat sources, as excess heat can affect the structure and properties of the gel.
