Scientific evidence
Footgel Padel insoles are designed to absorb impact and spread loads better during fast movements, stops and turns. Biomechanical padel studies highlight the heavy involvement of the forefoot, while cushioning research shows that soft materials can reduce pressure in this area.
The forefoot takes much of the load
A padel-specific biomechanical study used pressure measurement to analyse movements such as the forward run and the split-step. The researchers highlighted the importance of the forefoot in padel's characteristic movements and the need to adapt footwear to these demands.

Less pressure with forefoot cushioning
In a study with 23 athletes, adding specific forefoot cushioning significantly reduced peak pressure compared with a control insole and was rated more comfortable.

How to care for your Footgel Padel?
Our padel insoles can be machine washed at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle.
Important for drying. Always let the insoles air-dry. Do not use a dryer or place them on radiators or other direct heat sources, as excess heat can affect the structure and properties of the gel.
