Scientific evidence
Footgel Padel insoles are designed to absorb impact and better distribute loads during quick movements, sudden stops, and turns. Biomechanical studies of padel highlight the heavy involvement of the forefoot, while research on cushioning shows that soft materials can reduce pressure in this area.
The forefoot takes much of the load
A padel-specific biomechanical study used pressure measurement to analyze movements such as the forward run and the split-step. The researchers highlighted the importance of the forefoot in padel's characteristic movements and the need to adapt footwear to these demands.

Less pressure with forefoot cushioning
In a study with 23 athletes, adding specific forefoot cushioning significantly reduced peak pressure compared with a control insole and was rated more comfortable.
