Footgel Hunting is a high-cushioning insole designed for hunters who cover long distances, move over uneven terrain and carry a backpack or gear for several hours. It absorbs the impact of each step and helps relieve strain on the feet, knees and lower back.

EU size is the product’s reference size. US sizes are approximate equivalents and vary by brand. Footgel insoles run slightly large and are trim-to-fit.
Scientific evidence
Footgel Hunting insoles are designed to cushion every step and better distribute pressure during long days walking over uneven terrain and carrying gear. Studies on load carriage show that added weight increases plantar pressure and that soft insoles can reduce some of that overload.
Less pressure when walking with a load
In 20 healthy adults, a uniform soft polyurethane insole reduced plantar pressures while walking and maintained this effect when participants walked carrying a backpack.

Cushioned insoles distribute load better uphill
Fifteen athletes walked uphill carrying a 25 kg (55 lb) backpack. Soft, cushioned insoles significantly reduced peak pressure in certain areas of the heel and the fifth metatarsal.

How do you care for Footgel Hunting insoles?
Our hunting insoles can be machine washed at a maximum of 86 °F (30 °C) on a gentle cycle.
Important for drying. Always let the insoles air-dry. Do not use a dryer or place them on radiators or other direct heat sources, as excess heat can affect the structure and properties of the gel.
