Description

Footgel Tennis is a high-cushioning insole with a structure adapted to the lateral movements, sudden stops and turns typical of this sport. Ideal for players who want to ease foot and joint discomfort and play more comfortably during matches.

These tennis insoles combine Tecnion® technical microfiber, high-density foam and Termocrep-Gel® 3R technology to absorb impact and help reduce strain on the feet, knees and lower back.

Benefits

  • Helps ease pain: it reduces discomfort in feet, knees and lower back caused by impact and repeated foot strikes during play.
  • Termocrep-Gel® 3R cushioning: it absorbs the impact of each step, stop and change of direction to protect feet and joints.
  • Stability during lateral movements: it reinforces protection on the outer side of the foot and provides a firm base inside the shoe so you can move with more confidence during lateral movements and turns.
  • Less strain during long matches: it distributes pressure more evenly to reduce built-up tiredness in feet and legs.
  • Breathability and odor control: the Tecnion® technical microfiber helps keep feet dry and control moisture and odors inside the shoe.
  • EU Class I medical device · CE marked: manufactured in compliance with the EU Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745. It helps protect and care for your feet.
  • Hypoallergenic and antibacterial: it helps inhibit bacterial growth to keep the inside of the footwear fresher and more hygienic.
  • Long-lasting eucalyptus scent: the gel contains aromatic eucalyptus essence that helps keep odors at bay.

Scientific evidence

Footgel Tennis insoles are designed to absorb impact and distribute the pressure generated during serves, sudden stops, and changes of direction. Studies show that tennis concentrates high loads on the forefoot and that greater cushioning in this area can significantly reduce peak pressures.

High forefoot pressure during the serve

A study with 10 competitive tennis players found that the first serve generated 15.2% more mean pressure, 12.8% more peak pressure and 20.2% more maximum force on the lateral forefoot of the front foot than the second serve.

Less forefoot pressure with cushioning

In a study with 23 athletes, adding specific forefoot cushioning significantly reduced peak pressure compared with a control insole and was rated more comfortable.
