Description

Footgel Outdoor Winter is a high-cushioning insole designed for hiking and trekking in cold climates. It absorbs the impact of each step, distributes pressure more evenly and relieves strain on feet, knees and lower back during long hikes or when walking on uneven ground.

Its thermal insulation has been tested at a value of 0.080 m²·°C/W, more than three times the recommended reference value of 0.024 m²·°C/W for cold conditions.

Benefits

  • Protection from the cold: the merino wool helps retain warmth and maintain a comfortable temperature inside hiking boots.
  • Tested thermal insulation: it reaches a thermal resistance more than three times higher than the recommended reference value for cold conditions.
  • Helps ease pain: it reduces discomfort in feet, knees and lower back caused by long walks and uneven ground.
  • Cushioning on uneven terrain: it absorbs the impact of each step to protect feet and joints during climbs, descents and rocky sections.
  • Less fatigue on the trail: it reduces built-up fatigue in feet and legs when walking for hours, especially when carrying a backpack.
  • Moisture regulation: the natural properties of merino wool help absorb moisture and keep feet dry.
  • EU Class I medical device · CE marked: manufactured in compliance with the EU Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and CE marked. Protects and supports the well-being of your feet.
  • Hypoallergenic and antibacterial: helps inhibit bacterial growth to keep the inside of your shoes more hygienic.
  • Long-lasting eucalyptus scent: the gel contains aromatic eucalyptus essence that helps keep odors at bay.

Materials & care

What are they made of?

  • Merino wool: the layer in contact with the foot. Soft, warm and breathable, it helps retain heat and regulate moisture inside your footwear.
  • High-density foam: an ultra-breathable material that allows constant airflow to remove moisture and keep your feet fresh and dry.
  • Termocrep-Gel® 3R: exclusive gel technology. Designed to absorb impact and help relieve foot and joint discomfort.
  • Natural scents: the gel is infused with aromatic essences of orange blossom, aloe vera or eucalyptus to keep your footwear smelling fresh.

How do I care for my Footgel Outdoor Winter insoles?

They are not machine washable. Because they are made with merino wool, a natural fiber, we recommend hand washing them in cold water to better preserve their properties.

Important for drying. Always let the insoles air-dry. Do not use a dryer or place them on radiators or other direct heat sources, as excess heat can affect the structure and properties of the gel.
