Scientific evidence
Footgel Pickleball insoles are designed to cushion the loads generated during lunges, sudden stops, and quick changes of direction. Studies on this sport show the importance of these movements for the lower limbs, while research on cushioning shows that soft materials can reduce peak pressures in the forefoot.
Braking, lunging and rapid changes of direction
A systematic review of 15 pickleball studies identified falls, running, forward lunges and foot or ankle inversion among the main mechanisms associated with lower-limb injuries.

Less forefoot pressure with cushioning
In a study with 23 athletes, adding specific forefoot cushioning significantly reduced peak pressure compared with a control insole and was rated more comfortable.

Our pickleball insoles can be machine washed at a maximum of 86 °F (30 °C) on a gentle cycle.
